I thought this might be a good way to find out about cool places to travel to. I havn't been to too many places myself, but so far my favourite spot is the island of Hvar, Croatia. I was there a few summers ago and it's an absolutely stunning location.

So, if you could recommend one place to go to where would it be? Or is there somewhere you've always wanted to go to but havn't yet got around to it yet?

Italy ticks all the boxes for me.

I love the place. Stayed up on the North West coast a few years ago - Diano Marina. Not the prettiest place in the world but i liked it.

However we went for a drive one day and ended up in Apricale...Wow

You have to park outside the village and it's only accessible by foot - all cobbled, narrow streets....just beautiful.

Think i remember reading at the time that it was one of the 7 most beautiful villages in Italy.

Hoi An Vietnam is heaven on earth. Vietnam has all the charm of Thailand without the sleaze and Hoi An is just beautiful.

New York City. The place has an energy unlike anywhere else IMHO. For chilling out any number of Carribean Islands or in Europe the Croatian Islands such as Hvar as mentioned.
