Apologies for highjacking the thread but I also have a query on this topic.

If shares in a dormant company are transferred between unconnected individuals for nil consideration, is the recipient required to file a nil stamp duty form through e-stamping or is the transfer of shares just picked up on the next annual return filed with the cro?

No requirement to file anything. The transfer us picked up in the next annual return.
