Buying a Roku 2/3 in town

    Anyone know where to get one? Have tried, Harvey norman, morrises, kell and dollard, argos, soundstore and xtrasvison. Dont know where to try next want it for Monday/Tuesday

    I checked argos but not in stock anywhere unfortunately.

    Not sure what ur feelings are about second hand but just seen this

    Thanks for checking. I know the lad thats selling it sold it a hour ago haha Seems like a lost cause at this stage

    I was thinking about it but theres no native plex client on it, there are workarounds but I have no experience with it so im hesitant. If it was covered by argos' 30 day money back guarantee I would give it a go.At least then if it didnt work like I want could just bring it back

    Yea i see what you mean. I use apple tv here for netflix/hulu

    Another place you could chance is Crosslane across from smyths/woodies.

    I got one in the end off a chap I know 70euro used so I was happy out. Thanks for that though I'll keep that in mind for my third one :P

    Doylers..... Am thinking of getting one from the US next week.....and would be interested to know if it's reasonably straight-forward to set up.
    Have read posts re initialising them to get them to work
    requires US credit card / address....?
    Have read post re having to load PLEX or UTube apps
    controlled via the states......?
    Have read post re access to iPlayer, 5OD (UK sites)
    requires access thru service provider with country concealing facility....?
    Could you enlighten me on any any of the above......
