Hi Folks,

Anyone aware if a single royal mail tracking number can be used for more than one parcel?

I purchased 3 items on ebay from the same seller and they had a combined postal option which i used.

Last week I received the email with tracking number (same tracking number listed on all 3 items). I figured they probably put all items into one box.

Package came today, signed for it, and it was a box with one of the items i ordered, still missing 2 items. I said it to the postman that delivered and he said its possible the rest could arrive on Monday.

What concerns me is that I have never seen a situation with one tracking number for multiple parcels.

Anyone see this before?

No ask seller for tracking number for the other items, did the parcel looked like was opened and items taken out? Maybe they forgot to include the other items in the box.

Box was sealed inside plastic postal bag and all looked normal (not tampered with) like something recieved from your average online shop like littlewoods etc. It is exactly what I would have expected if I ordered just one item.

When I seen the same tracking number for all items, I just assumed they put the 3 boxes together in one box or one single pack. Apparently not

I emailed the seller earlier just to confirm.
