Santa always left us individual piles of presents on the living room floor. Our Christmas tree was always in our hall when we were kids.

Our Santa presents were never wrapped either that could be another poll !

Wife thinks the bedroom is better. I told her that was weird. Looks like I'm right :D

We always opened them in the living room. Maybe not under the tree, there's usually too many, but the tree was always in the living room too.

We got our stocking on the end of our bed and our main presents in individual piles next to the tree, never wrapped! The odd time with price stickers from the local toy shop too, Santa shopped there we were told :pac:

Yeah Santa was a big fan of the price stickers in our house too. Not wrapped either. If Santa was too lazy to take off the price stickers he definitely wasn't bothering with wrapping paper. :D

In the sitting room. There were too many kids in the house to have them anywhere near the tree so they were evenly spread out to avoid confusion.
Presents from people other than Santa went under the tree.

Presents were unwrapped (until after my Santa days) and left close to the tree. We were never allowed to go down to the living room on our own, the absolute excitement of opening the door!!

Stockings from were at the bottom of the bed but as we got older they moved to outside the door. Then presents were sorted into a pile for everyone all around the sitting room, but had been waiting under the tree until Xmas Eve (bar Santa Pressies)

Split into piles for each of us on the sofas in our sitting room, where the tree was. Unwrapped, until after a couple of us stopped believing, then somehow they started getting wrapped for the others!

Presents unwrapped under the tree in the sitting room and stockings (actual school knee socks) at the end of the beds.

In the living room. There were 3 of us and my parents have a big hearth/fireplace so we'd bring a kitchen chair in for each of us on xmas eve, and hang our stocking on the chair, then the next morning when we came down our presents would be arranged on and around the chair. :)

When I was a kid, just in the middle of the sitting room generally.

These days, for my kids, Santy leaves them beside the fireplace.

Main asked-for Santa presents unwrapped but surprise ones wrapped.

In the sitting room. There'd be 3 piles of toys and a card with the name written on it sitting on each of them.

Nobody else had theirs left on the kitchen table?
