    Hi all,

    My girlfriend is looking to buy a car from a smallish indy dealer in Dublin (Naas Road).

    It's a 2011 car, clean, good spec and well priced. Average mileage.

    The issue is this; the cartell report has thrown up one of two inconsistencies.

    It says the car is not an import but later on in the report it states the country of origin is Poland! Does this make sense? Should this be a cause of concern?

    The car has had 3 previous owners. Seems a lot for 2011 but could happen. The concern I have here is the dates. It was sold twice within a month! Could this be that is was transferred to the dealer? Should this be a point of concern?

    Other than that everything comes back clear apart from it not being taxed for a period of over 10 months.

    The car looks good, and appears straight but I'm just a little concerned give she'll be handing over 11k for it.

    I'd appreciate your comments on this.

    I remember cartell used to show dealer transfers as owners but they would never end up recorded on the logbook. Check the current logbook for number of previous owners and also to see if imported.
    If anything is in anyway fishy, run away.
