Just to note as a possible alternative, the new generation of Windows tablets are around the same price now.

I got my new DELL Venue 8 Pro this week which is selling for 299 EUR at the minute. Comes with FULL Windows 8.1 (not the cut down RT version), Quad core Atom, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage with a micro SD slot for expansion etc so it's a lot more useful IMO as you can install regular Windows programs on it too - you even get Office with it.

Might not be for everyone but I personally think it's a far better option than similarly priced Androids (and I say that as someone who used to own several of them). As well as the DELL, there's new models from Lenovo and Toshiba as well at the same price point.

Should make the tablet market a lot more interesting anyway :)
