    Hi
Ive just serviced my 03 focus tddi.the car is running great, starts first tip etc. Ive done about 80 miles since the service and when I checked the oil I noticed it was still clear. I thought diesel oil went black pretty quick. Is this normal?? Cheers

Your right.. The oil usually goes black instantly.
The one time I experienced what you describe is when I used an engine flush.
Anyway as long as the oil light is going out I'm sure you've nothing to be concerned about.
    Marty.

What happened lastweek was i put 10w40 oil in and after a few days changed it to 5w30. So maybe the 2 oil changes ina week had a sort of cleaning effect on the engine.
