Bag for carrying on front and day hikes

Hello all heading to New Zealand in January, I'm looking to get a bag that can be worn comfortably on the front of the body along with my 65L rucksack on my back. It will leave my hands free when I am moving about. It has to compact enough to bring on a plane as hand luggage, but also be usable as a day pack for hiking etc…

Hello all

I've looked in a few shops but to no avail.

Any ideas?
