Can I just use a standard Nexus/LG/Samsung/Apple wall plug for a chromecast? Or even plug the USB lead into the TV USB port to power it? I bought mine in the US, so the plug with it is no good.

The USB port should be grand.

You can use the USB port on the back of a sky HD box or horizon box to power that's what I done with a friends. Powered it off the horizon
