28 day eviction notice

    If a person receives a 28 day eviction notice and moves out on the 1st day of it are they liable for the other 27 days rent?

    Was having a debate with some friends over different housing issues and this one we disagreed on.

    Yes. The tenancy is still valid until the end of the notice period.
