In the middle of building an m4 from parts I had lying around. Know nothing about gearboxes, but I notice the air nozzle is not springing back when I press it in.
So whats wrong! What do I need to do to fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

Might be possible that you might have forgotten to re-attach the tappet plate spring.?
Easy thing to miss, I do it myself sometimes .

You just need a little double loop ende spring- I don't know is that the proper name but best description I can think of. I got one off a fellow boardsie. You could try the Airsoft shops graveyard

Spring that attachs to the plate in this pic. You should be able to pick up a set of springs for a gearbox at a local airsoft store. Springs are less common for you to have spares off than other parts so it is important to make sure you have all the ones you need accounted for before starting, and screws.

    Hey matey

If you need one if those springs I'm sure I have a spare one knocking about.
PM me your address and I'll chuck it in the post for you.

Thanks guys! It's a gearbox I got on here a while back, know nothing about them at all. But have a broken one now as well so I must open it and see if I can sort it out.

If it's not the spring, make sure the air nozzle is seated properly in the tappet plate, made that mistake once or twice myself!
