Ruger .243 mark 2

    Can any of you let me know what you thing of the Ruger .243 mark 2 have a deposit put off this to get me into Deer Hunting next season,

    I had 1 in 308. Lovely gun really reliable not too heavy. Only had 1 fault with it and that was the weight of trigger pull on it. It was way too much. If the trigger isn't too heavy on your gun, you will have a great gun

    I have one in .243. As said, trigger is way too heavy, I will eventually get a replacement. Apart from that it's a very nice handling rifle.

    One tip about zeroing, allow a couple of minutes between shots to allow the very thin barrel to cool down otherwise you would be very disappointed.

    which model mk11 is it there are quite a few different options !
    most if not all have terrible triggers though but are easily sorted with a timney

    I got one. Its the heavy barrel VT model and I love it. I think they are a good solid gun. The trigger on mine is very good right out of the box, no creep breaks nice and clean. But I think the VT model has a different trigger to the standard rugers.

    I really don't know I walked into the Gun shop went into safe room, and was handed a couple of guns to look at this Ruger felt ok looks and feel ok, if you understand what I mean, I am heading back tomorrow to put another € 300.00 off it, I will get more details and let you know
