My sister has an Alba B660 (manual missing) just wondering how the frequencies for mux1 and mux2 can be found without having to re-tune in order to know which transmitter they are directed at. The aerial is exposed also to strong winds which causes problems with reception

It looks the same as a walker box. The best thing to do is a factory reset followed by an automatic scan this should pick up all the channels . They should appear then in the correct order.

Similar in shape to the walker
Is there a way to find frequencies without retuning, rescanning or factory reset
There is no problem with the channel order but there is a problem with quality of picture
When I'm talking about frequencies I'm referring to ch 52 and ch 56 in Kilduff, ch 54 and ch 58 in Kippure, ch 23 and ch 26 in Mount Leinster

Can you not do a manual scan where you scan the frequencies you have mentioned ? Did you check the cover checker map onhttp://www.saorview.ie to see what frequency or mast it shows for your location. This will also help you to know which direction your aerial should be facing.

If you go to the manual scan screen, it should show the channel no. or frequency you are currently tuned to, no need to proceed with scan. Should be something like Menu > Installation/Setup > Manual tune > Channel scan/Frequency scan.
