VW Bora 1.9tdi 2001 130bhp 6 speed need a second hand front LHS driveshaft

    Hi All,

    My car failed the NCT due to the ASR light being on on the dashboard, I also need to change the driveshaft and I have got 2 second hand ones, but both would not fit this Bora, this car is either a 115bph or a 130bph, it was sold to me as a 130bph, but 115bph is stated on the log book.
    My NCT return date is Jan 2nd 2014, so I am hoping that somebody can help me, and make it a happy new year for me.

    Who's car is a 115bhp? Your car or did you buy a second one for parts?

    I did not buy a second hand car, I only bought the drive shaft.

    And he showed you the log book where it stated 115bhp and you bought it while knowing yours was different

    I did not see that and I am not bothered about it.

    The problem is trying to locate a second hand drive shaft, there must be a different type in my car???
