    Well im confused

Michael Noonan has indicated that there could be decreases in income tax or adjustment in tax margins in 2015.

"Mr Noonan said the possibility of a tax cut in 2015 or 2016 may be emerging,"

    Taken from the following:
    http://www.irishtimes.com/news/politics/noonan-signals-possible-income-tax-cut-in-budget-1.1626123

However, for us to met crucial eu fiscal targets, it appears from the IMF's assessment that we will need a tougher budget in 2015.

    http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/final-imf-report-suggests-tougher-budget-in-2015-29853381.html

2014 will bring further property charges, water charges and who knows what else in the new year. I cant see where they predict economic growth to come from?

GDP is expected to grow 1.7% but here in Ireland, it is really GNP that matters. I see no mention of that.
They also stated "The IMF warned that high long-term unemployment, if left unaddressed, could depress growth for years."

Well, unemployed is a result of the economic decline experienced in the past few years. The economic declined is a direct side effect of the Austerity imposed and yet at the same time they suggest more?

Cause there is an election in 2016 and them sleazy snakes care about is getting re-elected.

There probably will be some playing around with income tax but you can be there will be plenty more increases in indirect taxes to compensate, along with further cuts to services.

Their opinion doesn't matter any more; Noonan can throw euros at him and laugh in his face.
