Been thinking about this for a few days and cannot see how I am wrong (maybe i am blind)

    EG.
    FC Groningen v NEC

    FC Gro d/c @4/6
    FC Gro to win 3/1
    Draw 2/1

    10 on d/c = 15 returned,
    5 on draw = 15 returned
    5 on FC Gro = 20 returned.

Why back the d/c when its better value to back both?

just noticed I counted that wrong 10 on 4/6 should be 16.70

But i have seen example where the same rule applies.

Most likely the bookmaker is betting the Match odds to less overround and the DC market is a set overround which is bigger than double the book percentage of the match odds and therefore less competitive.

There are examples of this at many bookmakers , you can get better odds often on team a -0.5asian handicap that the team a 1-x-2 odds very often especially at bet365
