Anyone know of a reputable supplier as the official UK site is out of stock in the subtle tint film.

    Thanks

Try the US site? The are the only 2 places i ever bought it, lot of cheap flimsy copies out there on ebay etc so beware.

Yea I know. Reason I want the laminex is because it cures and is easier to work with and provides an element of protection whereas a lot of the fly eye kits have cheap adhesive and look awful

Exactly, when i first started using Lamin-x it was solely for protection, then i discovered the subtle tint. :D

On the US site the colours are named differently.

Im guessing It's Tint as in the lightest of the charcoal type colours ?

Now to get out my measuring tape and see how much i need

I've a sneaking suspicion it might be gun smoke, the first place i ever bought it was the USA i'll see if i can dig out my old thread that i posted on a UK forum at the time.

EDIT : found the thread but i didn't mention which tint it was, i'm not so sure if the gun smoke is the same now or darker. Probably best e mail them. Sorry for the confusion.

    Thanks a lot.

Dar told me you can get samples of tint the size of a fog to see what suits. Was gonna ring the UK crowd to see when back in stock failing that.

I know i tried the darkest tint once and it was far too dark, diminished light output a lot - even with xenons.
