    Hi All,

I'm looking for recommendations for a new HDD for my iMac (Build 10K549).
At present I have a Western Digital 320GB (Model no: WD3200AAJS), so anything up to 1TB if it'll take it.

    Many thanks,

    IM

If you can afford it then go for a large SSD. Their prices have come down but the performance difference and the stress it takes off your processor and RAM will give your iMac a good 3-4 years more useful life.

    Hi LD,

    Might look into that alright.
I'll be using it for video so it'd make sense.

We had an SSD fitted by CompuB a year ago. Never looked back. Fantastic!
