Hello guys, I have this problem, I have an Opel Vectra 1.9 CDTI and when I drive for like 100 km's + my water temperature indicator remains on the minimum possible as if I didn't even start the car.. it does go up after like 120-130 km's of driving, any ideas if it's a possible sensor problem or is it normally like that for diesel cars ? I know they take a while to heat up but not that long... I went to a garage and got it checked via a computer software and it returned no problems.. any ideas what it could be? any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

My guess is you possibly need a replacement thermostat.... the old one is probably stuck in the open position thus protecting the engine... but not giving you any heat into the car itself.

Sorry guys, I forgot to add in that there is hot air going in to the car and I get it in like 5 minutes after starting up the engine if it's cold outside.

Probably a small problem with the wiring for the gauge or a problem with the sensor for the gauge so.
