Help me find an Irish poem

When I was in college studied this poem in Irish, I have tried looking everywhere to find it again but, seeing as I can't remember any actual quotes, I've come to a dead end. Hopefully, one of you lovely people could help me.

As I said the poem is in Irish. It's about a family playing a hurling match on the beach. Things get too competitive and it turns a little aggressive. The poem ends with a line like 'Now I understand why Cuchulain killed his son'.

If it helps jog any memories it was taught as part of Colaiste Mhuire Marino's 1st year B.Ed course in the Irish lit. module.

    Thanks!
