Uploaded Shown 126 times On 3e over Christmas and New Year

Over the next two weeks, Uploaded will be shown 126 times on 3e. Great to see such variety on the channel.

Dublin Airport's 6 episodes are shown 4 times, while Best of Graham Norton will be wheeled out again for the 5th and 6th showings.

I've looked through TV3's schedule last night, and it is horrendous. Films being repeated 2 days after their initial showing, specials being shown 3/4 times again and again over a number of days. While most of the family films I've never heard of.

I hope that these new film deals inject some life into their schedules in 2014.

Am I the only one who does count them?
It's an annual tradition now on TV3 and 3e: "Count the repeats" :o

Is it the full half hour episodes of Uploaded or the 3 minute fillers they put between shows?

I counted the normal Uploaded episodes, the Christmas Specials and the 'Best of' Specials. Didn't include any of the 'Bytesize' editions.

Is anyone planning on spending the last 2 hours of 2013 watching Booze Britain.

This is probably a repeat too.

It is amazing that they seem to show the same videos in different episodes... 25% of every episode was from the previous one!

Anyone with a decent Internet connection should maybe try to forget about the very existence of things like TV3 and 3e. Hopefully 2014 will be the year where channels which arrogantly show blocks of mind numbing repeats of things nobody even wants to watch really experience a significant blow to their coffers and die off. It definitely won't happen but here's hoping anyway.

From a quick look at their schedules this year, uploaded, nothing to declare and xpose take up around 16 hours every weekend. Jeremy Kyle USA will be shown 5 times a day starting Monday week. They really must have run out of shows at this stage.

that Uploaded show is a mess. one of the episodes showed some car almost getting crushed during a mud slide by a huge bolder, and then it cuts to the presenter with a big smily head on him. some of the clips arent even that funny

and the nightclub harlem shake making their top 10 best of was lame, probably crappest one ive seen

also that One Direction promo docu is on every bloody night!! I ignored it but then eventually watched it, theyre talented individuals for sure but produced/packaged to the extreme. basically singing to young girls so they spend their pocket money on their cd's, and singing to their mothers so they buy the concert tickets!

This a million times, with the amount of quality stuff on tv people have no excuse for watching repeated drivel anymore. There's shows I'd have on as background noise like Friends or The Simpsons that I'd like but in the days of netflix and streaming quality shows the days of flicking around complaining about repeats are dead and buried.

Well I wouldn't say they're quite dead and buried so long as repeats channels are still around, but hopefully their days are numbered. Funny to think that there's a generation who'll probably look at us funny when we tell them about when you could only look at shows at a certain time, prescribed by the channel. It's even becoming a weird concept to me. Broadcast television is becoming something of an anathema as a whole but there's still a place for it. For now. However, now when I turn on the TV, it's usually to fire up XBMC on the HTPC or the Pi, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Feck repeats and feck ads too. When you haven't seen ads on TV in a while, when you do catch the odd one, it can be a slight shock 'cause they really are getting worse.

There's a difference between re-runs of Friends and pure sh1te like Uploaded.

It's a pity the station has turned into such a mess since the early days of 3e and Channel 6.

Gone are comedies like How I Met Your Mother, Only Sunny In Philadelphia, Seinfeld, My Name Is Earl and they've been replaced by 10th reruns of Friends and hundredth showing of Uploaded.

Gone are dramas and action like Heroes, The Wire, Dexter, Sopranos, House, NCIS, NCIS:LA and they've been replaced by repeats of Cold Case and CSI. They haven't made any attempt in securing any new dramas for at least 2 years now.

Gone are the music shows like Night Shift and Popscene, and replaced by ... er... Uploaded.

New shows starting on 3e over the coming days: "Sex: How to Do Everything", "Booze Britain" and "Why Men Watch Porn". Just highlights how much TV3 don't care about the channel anymore and what direction it intends to take it.
