just dropped oil and changed filters on my 1.9 diesel citroen xsara .
I was considering disableing the EGR. What is the best way to do this on my model. 1868 cc non turbo.. The blank plates on ebay only seem for 1.6 or 1.8 engines.

Make your own blank. Or if you're sure the egr is working and closing properly just disconnect the vacuum line on top and plug it with a screw.

I'd just make my own blank for peace of mind. Take off the valve and measure it up properly and clean out any gunk from the intake while its off.
