PS4 Controller Button Sticking

Got PS4 bundle yesterday. I have played it for about 2 hrs in total but now the L1 button seems to be sticking a lot. I would assume I can just return to GameStop for exchange. I don't fancy being told "ohh you have to send back to Sony" for exchange .
Anyone else out there got issues with controllers ,?

It's a common issue. My R1 does the same. I suspect the sprint in FIFA is my culprit.

That don't sound good. They were supposed to have re-engineered the PS4 controller. There were never any issues with my PS3 controller & that took a serious hammering

It seems to be a widespread issue, also issues with rubber coating on the analogue sticks.

There is a fix for the triggers though.
