So long as your I grade has been processed you'll be automatically included in next August's repeats as far as I know.

If I provide a doctors note I won't have to pay the fee do I?

You'd have to check that with Paddy, I was never the best at the ins and outs of exams. You don't automatically get an I grade by bringing a doctor's note though.you have to submit it through the Health Centre, Counselling or Chaplaincy.

I missed them last semester, and I had to go to the health centre despite having a letter from a doctor. You have to get a reference from someone authorised to give one, which you include in your I grade application.
