Hi, a friend recommended that I come here for advice for my first PC build. So here goes.

    1. What is your budget? - €1000

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming primarily and also web browsing and general computer use.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

    5. Do you need a monitor? No

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 1080p tv/monitor. Yes I will be upgrading in the future.

    6. Do you need any peripherals? I need wireless keyboard and mouse.

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Not in the near future.

    8. How can you pay? Laser/credit card or PayPal or bank transfer.

    9. When are you purchasing? Between now and end of January

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? I'd like to build it myself.

Extra Info: Primarily used for playing games like Skyrim with mods, Fallout, and upcoming games like The Division and The Witcher 3. I want my games to look beautiful and run better than the latest gen consoles with generous frame rates. After that just some web browsing, netflix and general computer use.
I need this machine to be quiet, as it will be in my bedroom and I will be using it late at night while my wife is asleep. I also like the idea of an SSD for booting the OS and a seperate mechanical drive for storing files. I would also like it to be small but not if it means going over budget. I don't care about led lights or side panel windows and couldn't care less how it looks as long as it performs. But small and quiet if possible.

Any help on a build would be greatly appreciated
