ipad Mini and iphone 5s

Hi All, Apologies if im in wrong area. I was thinking of purchasing an ipad Mini for the gf in currys for chrimbo. on offer there currently. I just noticed that it is iOs6, where as her phone is iOs7, probably a stupid question, but would there be an issue for transfering files etc from the 2 ? Thanks

no issue & you can upgrade (free) to iOS 7 anyway
