Sky bb via netopia router?

Hi recently switched to sky bb from eircom. The sky hub was never sent out (I've found out after multiple calls to see where it was) I'm now without internet for passed week and going insane. Is there a way I can use my netopia router for sky? It's the older grey model. Thanks in advance

Don't think you can as you would need the hub to extract your username

Pretty sure the username and password are default. Admin as username and sky as password.

Yes thats to get into the router setup, but from there to access the dsl the skyusername and password will be unique to the account, Im using a netgear router but had to get the username and pw from the sky router.

I'm in the same boat. Vodafone disconnected my service last Friday and no sign of the Sky router.

Just rang the call centre there now, and apparently they've run out of them!

So I'm guessing no broadband for me for Christmas
