For the past few months I've gotten days where I get so extremely hyper and then for a few days I will feel extremely down, to the point where I feel like I just want to go away. Be on my own. Not talk to anyone. I seem to get more down days and often I've felt I have to fake being hyper because I don't want people thinking I am a negative person. I hate feeling like this and there are times when I am better off just leaving this world.

My happy days however, consist of me being hyper, funny and loud and often I would have to be told to calm down. Not in a bad way.

I work in Retail and the last thing I want to be doing is taking it out on a customer. I am never rude to a customer but on my down days, I feel like just screaming at them, at anyone really.

I am afraid to go to a doctor in case they laugh at me. I know that's not professional of them but you know what doctors can be like. I am just afraid they will tell me it's nothing and I am just being dramatic.

I am not asking for any for anyone to diagnosed me. I am just wondering, has anyone else felt like this before?

    Please reply.

I think you need to go to a GP for a formal diagnosis. You say you're relcutant to go for fear the doctor will laugh at you but this simply won't happen. If you can, maybe keep a mood diary over the next week or so in order to show this to the doctor when you go and see them.
