PS4 - Parental Controls - Chat

    HI all,

    My Brother in law got his son a PS4 for Christmas however he wants to set up chat parental controls so randomers can't talk to him.

    BUT -is it possible to restrict talking to randomers but allow him to talk to his online friends through the PS4 network?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    If he sets up a party he can just talk to his mates
    depends on what games he is playing and what age he is
    Bf4 rated 18.s you can turn ingame voice off
    doupt if hed be playing that thou.
    most games have smilar options
    but if he just wants to hear hus friends then just open a party where friends can join or invite only

    YEah so i reckon if i turn off chat altogether in account settings I take it he can still set up a party and talk that way.
