Hi folks, first time posting in this forum I think!

In our shop we want to be able to offer (prospective) clients a coffee or tea to have during a consultation.

Because people could just drop in at any time, we need something quick & convenient that doesn't require a lot of preparation (or tidying up).

I was looking at the Nespresso because it's an easy one-touch solution with minimum preparation, tidying and general messing about needed, but we've been advised against that by a coffee aficionado, so I'm hoping you good people might be able to propose an alternative, but similar, solution!

    Thank you

    Automatic bean to cup machine?
Amazon Germany tends to have the good pricing.

Personally I dont think nespresso machines are that bad, they are just different but they fit a purpose.

Bean to the cup machines are better of course but can get pricey.

I bought a nespresso for my parents and they are very happy with it. I dont think I could use it every day but the "coffee" is acceptable, they are easy to clean and easy to maintain. They also take little space (compared to other machines).

You can get a nespresso for 100 euro, Bean to the cup machine are normally more expensive, but then again, they make better coffee. I have no experience with them so I can't recommend you a specific one.

Its definitely a case of different strokes for different folks on this one.

Me I'll vote for the nespresso - even though if I was in with you for a consultation then I'd opt for the tea over the nespresso :pac:

Owning a proper espresso machine whether bean to cup or manual is still going to mean buying fresh beans, training staff how to use it and following a proper cleaning/maintenance routine (descaling/ backflushing, portafilter, removing shower screen etc). If you have the time and money to do this then yes the resulting coffee is going to be a world of difference to hat you get from a nespresso machine ... I might even opt for a coffee on that consultation.

Have you tried the delonghi ec152? its an entry level macine at a very good price with even better results. And you get the added bonus of the very welcoming aroama that you receive when entering a specialist coffee shop(not mentioning any names lol)
