Anyone used this app successfully? Just downloaded it for about a fiver and going to give it a lash (hard to get a bike fit here in my current location unless you care to part with an arm and a leg). Has some really nice features and for this price it's well worth a try. Not sure if it's available for Android. Will post a report later.

looks pretty interesting. Where Im living now (US) bike fits are about 200usd. I wonder would you get a cheaper (when you factor in the need for a tripod) and more accurate measure with buying a cheap goniometer from amazon.com......roughly 6 dollars

just downloaded for my ipad, luckily my other half is into art and her little tabletop easle is the perfect stand for my ipad. Wont get time to use the app for a wee while but it'll be interesting to see how it works.

Downloaded it there for the simple reason that the young lad who is 15 is in the middle of a growth spurt so will be using this to help the bike adjustments keep up with his rate of growth.

    Hi there,
Curious as to how this worked out for you?

Sorry, got a bit lazy and didn't bother following up. I have used the app to to good effect. There have been a few updates recently to it which allow you to export the measurements to PDF, you can save the video to camera roll and also the frames per second is savage, can get it to 24fps and also play at1/4, 1/2, 1x and 2x speeds. Theres a cool little slider as well on the LHS that allows you to cycle through the video, forwards or backwards 1fps.

I took my time using it and reading all the little notes related to the measurements. I'm sure a lot of people would disagree as to the accuracy of this app as it gives ideal measurements. So for example, a riders arm angle (angle formed by shoulder, elbow and wrist when holding the hoods) is apparently ideally between 150-160deg. This was the very first thing I adjusted as my arms were too straight when holding the bars at 168deg. Just picture holding your arms straight out at 180deg and imagine how uncomfortable that would be, a little bend allows you to absorb shocks much better. I felt more comfortable and not as stretched out over the bike as before. Might be difficult to visualise what I'm saying here.

Anyway, that's just one example. It allows you take 23 measurements and some of those include foot angle, forearm angle (for aerobars), hip angle and knee angles etc. I think it's a fantastic app and for the price of a pint it's a good investment.
