Goodness me they like to argue amongst themselves in the valleys lol

The welsh regions say they want to join the English Aviva league to form an anglo league....with BT money pretty appealing , plus the bonus of freeing themselves from their own union

But it seems the welsh regions and their union cant agree on anything and the WRU are threatening to kick them out of existence unless they sign a new deal and stay in the rabo....but the welsh regions are struggling financially and need more revenue from tv deals and bigger crowds...the union meanwhile has a deal with us and the sru and Italian RFU for 3 more years in rabo.

the Heineken cup is gone....BUT a new cup may continue

so what about this anglo league?
does it matter? will it happen? do we blame them? how will it affect the rest of the provinces, the scots and Italians too? what are the repercussions? why don't the welsh just sign up to some central contracts like us? could it lead to the collapse of Scottish rugby? or could it actually lead to a british and irish league with the Italians off to france?? or will the welsh regions be kept in line and stay with the rabo?

I presume wed be ok as our crowds are growing all the time, but losing 4 home games is a blow

so how will it pan out?

I love the way the Welsh regions/clubs say that being in the English premiership will draw huge crowds.
They can't even sell out HEC games against English teams so I fail to see how they will get bigger crowds than they get at the moment.
Certainly the lure of the £ is appealing.
