I have three factory fit black whitehead heifers under 30 months to sell in the mart in the morning.. they are nearly identical in size and colour...Would ye sell them in singles or together and why? I usually sell them in singles and I dont know why, probably because they would rarely be as identical as these! What do ye reckon?

Oh not this old chestnut again!

I think the last time we discussed this we concluded that it depends on the area and mart you are in and also comes down to personal preference

Personally l always stick in as singles.

Put them together better chance of a shootout. Singles make it easier for the boys to divide them up!!

Kanturk is the only mart doing that down my way, also cattle over 2 years in Killmallock don't need to be entered every thing else has to be entered except calves of course.

Any mart I would attend you can book them in but not nessecary only time I had to do that was when selling at special suckler sales, think it's the norm to book them in up west
