How much is it to have a heifer killed and professionally butchered?

    As per title, how much does it cost roughly to have one of your own heifers killed and butchered for your deep freeze? Many thanks, we haven't done this before.

    Paid E300 just last week for a handy heifer

    But paid E350 for a good size heifer in march '11

    How much meat is on a well finished AA heifer at say 400kg? About 200kg?

    €220 euro yesterday for heifer dropped back in freezer.

    €250 around here. Includes bagging and labelling. Also includes a good bit of mince and any quantity of burgers that you want.

    Thanks I think I know who you mean, he has land rented near us, we're south Mayo, I hadn't thought of him.
