    Wondering if anyone can help...what happens with fis payment if your spouse gets a job..application has already gone in with just the details of one spuse working..does they payment aotomatically stop or is there a time frame that you can claim it for ...thanks in advance

    you can claim it for as long as you remain eligible...you are obliged to notify the department about any 'change in circumstances' and the sooner the better as you dont want to be facing a demand for over payments should that happen.

    Have you been awarded the fis yet?
    Once its awarded your rate of fis generally won't change regardless of the change in income up or down- so long as you're still working over 19 hours, until your renewal date (a year after) when they will recalculate.
    But you still need to inform them of any changes in circumstances as they happen.
