    hi guys,

i was having severe back problems with 03 toyota landcruiser seat , sponge in base of drivers seat is slowly falling apart , 400 euros to replace the sponge i think with toyota , second hands one no good they fall apart went you get them , i tried buying a second hand seat costing 100 euros but it was worse , i find the landcruiser seats in general very soft and have had problems with back since i bought the jeep. compared to the auld fellas 98 pajero , they have good solid seats and pleasure to drive , brothers isuzu 96 has good seats as well . i tried taking it out and packing base , slightly better , i have dondealed and cant get leather seats , i have spokening to mechanics ,they say it wouldnt work getting a seat from a pajero and changing rails . any ideas or what have you done to sort out the seat in your landcruiser . a few people i have spoken to all say they have lower back problems after the landcruiser, i even bought a chiropractor seat insert for the jeep no improvement. currently it is parked up cos too dear to run and driving a small berlingo van at moment and back pain is gone

While the pajero seat won't work in a straight swap would it take much for some good metalworker to adapt the brackets to suit. They can change seats for wheelchair users so it should be possible with the landcruiser.
