ak carbine conversion?

    Could one convert a carbine ak into the full length ak?
    Are there kits for this?
    I'm looking at one ,(see attached)
    And was wondering what would be involved
    and if it would be worth the effort.
    Don't know the manufacturer, just an example

    It can be done, its not too difficult ehobby asia among others sell complete front end kits. Beware though if you change barrel lengths you may need to change the cylinder in the gearbox to suit the new inner barrel length.

    I spotted a front end kit on evike ( not that I'd bother importing from the states) while googling springs and other bits. Good to know they are out there.
    the thought had accoured to me that it may have a domino effect on the internals, but I'm not to put out by that, as I was looking for a project anyway.

    I'm a lot happier to pick up the aeg now knowing I can do this with it if I fancy.
