    Hello all,
I'm going to be starting a new job in Dublin in the New Year, based in city centre.
I've been looking on daft, but not knowing the geography of the big smoke so well, I'm at a loss as to where would be handiest. (city centre too expensive).
I'm not fussy about the area, its just a weekly "lie down" I'm looking for, single room in shared house kinda thing.
Anyone any recommendations on areas to look?

    Thanks

Where in the City Centre? If South and you're looking for somewhere a little cheaper to share you could try around Rathmines/Portobello/South Circular Road - all of which are a short walk into town but would be a bit cheaper than say Grand Canal or around the Baggot Street area.

    LOOK on rent.ie ,
    northside tends to be cheaper,
    eg north circular road,cabra ,
theres a website for shared houses,
    .
    i think this is it,
    http://ie.easyroommate.com/leinster/dublin-flatshare

    you register on it,
then you can pm, email the other users,
    or put up,
    ad , i,m looking for a room
under say 320, 400 per month etc
eg look for room, search ADS under say 400 per month.
or look at ads there , house,
    flat share dublin .
in general south of the liffey tends to be higher rent
    THAN north of the liffey,
    northside.

IF you register on that website,
you can send a private message to someone,
    anyone with an ad.
eg ad, 2 people in a house,
we are looking for another room mate,
    to share ,
    the house,
Rent is say 320 plus bills,
IF YOU get a small room ,
box room, the rent should be a bit cheaper ,
    than a large bedroom
    or maybe put ad up,
    I,m looking for a room.in a house,
    or a 2 bed flat,
    flat share .
