Id recommend Kongsberg easy to get to from Norway as theres a bus that runs Oslo http://www.kongsberg-skisenter.no/sider/tekst.asp?side=4

There is a smaller park near Oslo called Oslo Ski Park you can have all the city sites along with a good time skiing.

Both you can fly with Norwegian or Ryanair and do it on the cheap. You can have Oslo city nightlife with a good skiing holiday Kongsberg has some clubs too

    Have a look here http://www.visitnorway.com/uk/What-to-do/Active-holiday/Skiing-in-Norway/Alpine/Ten-recommended-ski-resorts-in-Norway/

Depends on where you would go if you drink in a tourist area you are going to pay the high prices...... If you do like you do in Dublin and have a drink before you head out and drink in the grondland area you can get a pint for about 6 euro...

Not sure about Cabins but there is a best western hotel in Kongsberg which is a little pricey. I stayed with my ex's family they own an apartment there so I didnt have to stay in accommodation there.

Hey, how much do pints cost in Kongsberg? Is it just Oslo that is pricey?

How about food and eating out in Kongsberg?

    I love snow :)

Opened thread yesterday about information on Norway, but it might be a bit pricey !! Still looking into it though..

Chose Norweay as Ryanair return to Oslo was €36...

Thinking of Munich now, flights are €50ish..

So, any recommendations on good ski / hiking / other snow related activities near Munich?

Norway is an expensive county so food and drink is going to cost a lot. If you can get full board or at least a place where you can cook your own stuff. Supermarkets are the cheapest way to eat in Norway. One example is Mc Donalds meal will cost you 12 euro. There can be good happy hour deals in some places but expect to pay a pretty penny for a meal.
