Yeah it seems quite dressy, but it coud definitely be dressed down with tights and converse and maybe a leather jacket

Actually I agree with Ciara re leather jacket, it would toughen the look perfectly and make it more casual

Leather jacket and boots would toughen it, imo. Would not wear Converse with it myself but it all comes down to what you like and what you feel comfortable in.
