Problrms SGS3 Rooting

    Hi
    I'm having problems rooting a SGS3 with a mac

    I run heimdall-frontend , flash with s3pit.pit
    and select recovery.img

    That goes ok.

    then i put .zip onto the phone

    reboot with volume up, power and center button

    But i have no option to boot zip

    i only have

    reboot now
    apply update from dab
    apply update from external storage
    wipe data factory reset
    wipe cache partition
    apply update from cache

    any ideas people ?
    its driving me mad

    there is no "flash zip from SD card"

    Did you look and see what's in External Storage?

    It's empty.
    There is no other sd card installed,
