Santy or Santa?

Having a bit of a discussion with some friends as to what name they use to refer to the big man. Myself, being a born and bred Dub use Santy. I'm informed that in most of the rest of the country Santa is prevalent, however in certain parts of Cork City Santy is de rigeur. So, what is it?
