My Dad died during the year and I am very anxious to close his Facebook account. Does anybody know how to do this? Found a memorilization form On some link last night but this did not seem to close his account. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you have the login details,it should be straightforward. Failing that, I'd guess they'd do it for you after seeing a death cert and possibly your birth cert. I don't use FB myself, so I'm guessing here. Best of luck.

sorry for your loss Marieomob, I had the same issue when my mom passed away. In the end we went with the memorial page as we wanted to have access to the photos, and its nice to click in to them occasionally. if you know his password you can just log in and deactivate the account, failing that you'll have to email facebook customer care.
