Is it possible to retrofit halogen or really good quality headlights?
I drove an 03 superb. To be honest the lights have always been poor, as I think is the same with all common vag cars of the age.

But I would be interested in the possibility and price if such upgrades were possible.

Forgive my ignorance, but what do you mean by that?

are you asking if thats what I want to do? if they are very good quality headlights then yes.

You could try polishing the headlights and fit Nightbreakers, that should increase the output a bit.

Well the standard headlights would be halogen so unless you meant fit upgraded halogen bulbs your next step is xenon.

Xenon can be very expensive to retro fit correctly. You need headlight washers and headlamps designed for xenon bulbs to pass a nct.

I would try something like osram night breakers if I were you.

Another thing to check, are your headlamps gone faded or discoloured?

I figured out i don't even need to flash i can just pull both of the electric window buttons on my drivers side up together and it makes my headlights dim.

Try it mk2 focus owners !

Ah ok, cool. That makes more sense now! I will polish them up, and look for these Osram nightbreaker bulbs.
    Thanks Guys.
