New place has opened in the Square, Tallaght offering
"advanced cold blue light accelerator" treatment to whiten teeth.
    It claims no sensitivity.

Anyone got any info on it?
    Is it any good?

You have a better chance of getting an answer at Dental issues so will move thread there, though be aware the forum charter at dental issues applies

Advanced cold blue light accelerator - read "does absolutely nothing to whiten teeth (apart from temporary dehydration) but we've spent a lot of money on this gadget and need to market it to make us appear like we offer a superior service".

The lights used during bleaching really do nothing. There have been a number of studies looking at the efficacy of using them as opposed to not and there is no difference. advanced cold blue light accelerator = a blue LED light, all dentists use these to set white filling materials, however there are supersized versions for bleaching entire mouths. Sometimes these are marketed as "Lasers" but they are not.

Having said this, the bleaching system may be good, the light might do nothing, but the bleach works all the same. Impossible to tell without knowing the type of bleach and the application protocol.

Is this a dental practice with qualified dentists?

Or is it simply trying to offer a "beauty treatment"?

Never allow anyone near your teeth other than a qualified dentist.
