    yes, i love my phone
im a biker so i primarily got z1 because its waterproof, somedays when its raining heavy, doesnt matter even if your wearing gortex, the rain will get through
the only gripes i have is fingerprints show up all over the place on the black 1, if you get one go for the white version
and the speaker volume is a little lower than other handsets
size wise its about an inch bigger than my old xperia T, but its nice and thin
the battery lasts me 2 to 3 days, but i have stamina mode turned on
and its a handset for the future, it has the new wifi AC band, and cat4 lte (150mb)
only comes with 16gb internal drive which turns out to be about 12gb useable storage, but you can use a 64gb micro sdxc card, i got a sandisk one on ebay for 44 including post, so about 72 gb total storage with the card
i could go on and on about the features all day, but i wont
1 other good thing, sony have really upped their game in relation to android updates for the z1
whereas in the past you could be waiting months to get them

meteor, i bought it online from meteor store 21st september and it had no meteor bloatware on it, but i had an xperia T with o2 and the updates take an age to come through, i think o2 has to sign off on updates to make sure their bloatware works, e.g o2 money ect.

o2 behave like an uncontrollable large corporation with software updates

ah well. at least I'm not a fashion conscious Apple freak :-)

id love to know what is so appealing about iphones, iphone 1 to iphone 5s all look the same, the only way to tell em apart is listening to an apple fan boy/girl
apparently the new 1 has a round button instead of a square 1 :D

I just order the xperia z1 online from O2 using a priority moments discount!

Is this the right micro sdxc card for it?

And can anyone recommend a good protective case for it?

    Thanks for your reply!

    The Roxfit cases are good

The 64gb cards can be messy on mobiles/tablets, I have only used 32gb

yes this is the right card, and i can verify they do work, i bought my 1 from ebay link below might save you a tenner or more, there is a lifetime guarantee with these cards so make sure you hang onto packaging and receipt incase you may need them
casewise, i just use the silicone gel cases,
you should also consider buying the DK31 magnetic charger, because the micro usb ports have been known to disintegrate from continuous use

You can only claim the O2 Priority moments discount if your already an O2 customer I think. Its a 20% discount.

    I'm on Bill Pay!

Also on Meteor, but only got the update via PC Companion today. I've been checking regularly via the update app on the phone and PC Companion. Checked the Update app this morning - nothing. Connected to PC Companion and am updating now.

I'm on O2, and no update available yet.

My micro sdxc card and case arrived today! The 64gb card works a treat in my phone.
