Mosin Nagant Rifle

    I have for sale a 1934 Mosin Nagant in 7.62 X 54R from the Tula factory, its got the Hex reciever so a little bit rarer, comes with original Bandolier, Oiling Bottle, angled bolt and original, tool kit and Bayonet. In very good original condition with all matching numbers.

    Clive, 1934 is the year of manufacture and ammo is available as target, hunting or milsurp ... John Kavanagh would have plenty.

    Was this imported at some stage is there any history to the gun ie did it see use in ww2

    Hi Fergus,

    imported? ... well its a russian made rifle, which was built Here ... so yes it was indeed imported.

    Use in WWII ... built in 1934, it would of seen use in WWII and since it was built pre war the quality is very good, when compared to most that were rushed out during wartime. Information from the previous owner is that some markings on the side of the action indicates that at some stage it was captured by the Nazi's . This I can't verify. But as a unique piece of working history and bearing all the original patina, I have to say I do get great satisfaction in firing this firearm.
