TCD Coca Cola boycott

So I read the latest version of University Times, turns out they are having a vote in the SU about removing all Coca Cola products from College during the Sochi Olympics.

Since Coke is the biggest sponsor of the IOC its meant to be a protest at the awful Human Rights issues in Russia obviously including the LGBT crackdown

i was in ucd in 2003 when they tried this

Ah, didnt know that. Wasn't around when they banned it or overturned it so I never questioned it much, prefer pepsi anyway :cool:
