What is the best gift you've ever received and why?

I can still remember opening a Harry Potter play set when I was 12 and being delighted with it. :D

Aer Lingus voucher - funded my first flights to the States, brilliant present. Not a Christmas present though now I think about it!

Apparently when I was younger my mother went and got loads of Barbie stuff and everything I was into when I was a kid.

That Christmas morning I ran into the sitting room and screamed "MAMMY!! Look what santy got me.. An Aladdin selection box!!!"

Think she knew I'd be a fat little weapon after that so just gave up

My first time was a Christmas gift. G/f and I were both 15 and she was babysitting Christmas Eve 198*. My gift to her was an eternity ring.

Which her friend gave back to me the following summer saying (as she chewed her chewing gum):

"Eh, ****** says it's off, here's your ring".

That ring was inappropriately named :(

A pair of Christian Louboutins! I nearly passed out. Had been jokingly asking for them for years and then got them one year.

Jaysus, that was some Christmas. My mother got me a chariot and a new whip to use on slaves.

A tomy big loader. That is still being sold 30 years later and I'm still impressed by it to this day. What a great toy...
